Combine two of the most magical countries of the continent and get a perfect balance in between highlands of the Peruvian mountains with the tropical breeze of he Caribbean waters of Colombia.
This trip will reward you with a unique contrast of stunning remainings of ancient Inca and pre Inca cultures and a glimpse of lifestyle and architecture under the rule of the Spanish empire.

The highlights on this tour are: Peru's Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley, Lake Titicaca, Colombia's captital, Bogota and Cartagena
Guaranteed departure on fixed dates, minimum 2 participants with local English speaking guide.
Hotels quoted are tourist and superior class categories (similar to 3* and 4* and categories).  The hotels we use are clean, safe, with private facilities and are centrally located.

Day 1


Arrival at the airport in Lima, where you will be welcome by an English speaking guide. Transfer to the hotel and Check-in.

Day 2

Lima / Cuzco / Sacred Valley

Transfer to the airport for the flight to Cuzco.

Upon arrival transfer to the hotel located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. On the way you will visit the typical Pisac marke, where a traditional market is displayed every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
A large handicraft fair is organized by the Pisac and Cusco craftsmen who exhibit and sell wide variety of fine crafts such as woven goods, Alpaca rugs, tapestry, sculpture, jewellery.
Continue to the ruin site of Ollantaytambo and visit the town, the shrines and the fortification with its stairs to the sky.
Afterwards transfer to the hotel in Yucay located in the Urubamba valley.


Day 3

Sacred Valley

Morning at leisure in the Sacred Valley, or take an optional morning tour (at an additional cost). In the afternoon a half day tour of Ollantaytambo ruins.

Optional: Visit to Pisac Market.
Optional: Visit the ruins of Moras & Moray.
Optional: Rafting on the Urubamba River.
Optional: Biking through the Sacred Valley.
Optional: Hiking from Ollantaytambo to Cachicata.


Day 4

Sacred Valley / Machu Picchu / Cuzco

Transfer by bus to the train station of Ollantaytambo where the tour starts. The train will travel though the fertile plain of the Urubamba valley and in to the town of  Aguas Calientes. From there, small buses will drive you up the steep mountain to Machu Picchu.

Called the Lost City of the Incas, this world heritage place is a beautifully located city erected with such exceptional technique and perfection that is even challenging today's engineering knowledge making us wonder about a culture capable of such an overwhelming work of art.  
Enjoy a guided visit of the ruins (about 2 hours)  and return by bus and later train to Ollantaytambo station. Transfer to your hotel in Cuzco.


Day 5


Your half-day city tour begins in the morning and will take you to the very centre of the Inca Empire (Plaza de Armas), where the Spanish erected a cathedral on top of the ancient Inca Palace.

Next stop will be the old town with its magnificent renovated colonial buildings; Then proceed to Sacsayhuaman, a ruin located approx. 3 km above Cusco.
Sacsayhuaman also offers a fabulous view of the city. Afterwards visit the surrounding ruins.
The afternoon is free at leisure.


Day 6

Cuzco / Puno

A full day bus journey from Cusco to Puno leads through the Peruvian highlands along snow covered peaks, up to 4.300 m above sea level and then goes down to Puno town on Lake Titicaca.

On route we will visit the town of Andahuaylillas, the ruins of Racchi and the small town of Pucara. Lunch is in a typical restaurant (included).
After arrival in Puno transfer to your hotel.


Day 7

Puno / Lima

Full day excursion on Lake Titicaca to visit the Uros floating islands home of the Aymara indigenous community.

The community have artificially built the islands using local wetland plants for generations and live on this islands on the waters of the Titicaca Lake keeping their ancestral traditions intact.

Continue to Taquile Island where you find Inca and pre-Inca ruins and terracing.
The narrowv island is only 1km wide and 6-7km long; people here still wear their traditional customs and have a community shop where is possible to buy woolen goods of very fine quality.
A typical lunch at Taquile Island is included.
Evening flight to Lima and transfer to the hotel.


Day 8


Explore the city on a sightseeing tour through Lima to see the "Plaza de Armas", town hall, Palace of the archbishop and the cathedral among others.
Later in the day you will visit the beautiful San Francisco monastery which displays the largest collection of religious art in America and underground vaults known as “catacumbas” or catacombs.

Proceed through the modern districts of San Isidro, Miraflores and to the Coastline to
enjoy the view over the beaches of Lima and the Pacific Ocean.
Afterwards enjoy a guided visit of one of the Lima’s most noted museums, the Rafael LarcoHerrera Archaeological Museum which houses the world’s largest private collection of Peruvian pre-Columbian Art. 


Day 9

Lima / Bogota

Transfer from the hotel to the airport and flight to Bogota, Colombia (not included). After arrival in Bogota transfer to the hotel.


Day 10


Explore the old town of the city on a guided city tour to visit the colonial area of La Candelaria, Gold museum and the museum of the faimous colombian painter Fernando Botero.
In the afternoon you will visit the unusual underground salt cathedral of Zipaquira, 120
m long and a total of more than 8500 square meters.
Inside this cave/church carved of salt crystals, monumental crosses, angels and the Madonna statue are lit up with funky lights.
Transfer back to the hotel.


Day 11

Bogota / Cartagena

Transfer to Bogota's airport to connect with your flight to Cartagena (not included). Upon arrival transfer to the hotel.
On the half day city tour you will visit the monastery of La Popa where you can enjoy a
wonderful panorama view over the city and the historic centre. During a photo-stop at San
Felipe de Barajas Fortress you can admire the massiveness of this military construction, built by the Spaniards. Afterwards walk to the colourful streets and winding alleyways of the old colonial walled Cartagena. At the end you visit the convent of San Pedro Claver.


Day 12


The day is free at leisure. Enjoy on your own the colonial city or the beaches.


Day 13


Transfer to Cartagena airport for your individual departure flight.



12 nights accommodation with private facilities and daily breakfast.
