According to the legend, one of the first explorers of the region, while navigating through the fluvial mazes, came upon a tribe of women warriors – the Amazons. Such a tribe has never been located, but gave the name to the forest and that legend continues to be told to date. The big Amazon Forest is really a place to get to know and explore. It provides four hundred years of legends, discoveries, adventure, dreams and an unforgettable experience.
