Fixed Departure dates - THU to MON

5 Days

The Galapagos Archipelago is located on the Equator and its climate is sub-tropical, allowing cruises to operate on a year round basis. Temperatures are determined almost entirely by the ocean currents that are influenced by the trade winds. Generally, December to May is warm and sunny; June to November is cool and breezy. Most birds nest year round, so you can see courtship, mating, chicks hatching, and rearing almost any time of the year.
The Legend is a classic cruise ship offering comfortable and spacious travel for its 100 passengers. Distributed over four decks are five different classes of accommodation ranging from standard cabins (most with porthole, except internal cabins) to large, bright suites offering good ocean views from their generous picture windows.  All are carpeted with air-conditioning and private facilities. There is an inside restaurant, bar/lounge, lecture room and small outside pool with bar. The décor throughout is light, if a little bland, in pastel blues, pinks and greys, with generous wooden trimmings.

NOTE: Due to Government regulations in Ecuador NOT all departures follow the same itinerary.  Please ask our specialist for the itinerary of your specific departure date or visit http://www.gogalapagos.com

The route and program may vary according to the National Park policies and regulations, weather conditions, seasonal changes, safety reasons and wildlife encounters. Safety will be always part of the daily programming of activities. Kindly follow all suggestions. It is compulsory to wear a life vest during all dinghy rides between the ship and the shore. Flexibility is essential in order to cope with nature's outstanding features. Given the islands’ volcanic origin, and the fact that most walking is done over pristine and irregular volcanic terrain, guests must be in suitable physical condition for this kind of outings. The ship also organizes activities like boat rides, glass-bottom boat trips, snorkeling, swimming, lectures, all complementing everyone’s experience.
•Dry landing: guests step from the dinghy directly onto rocks or a dock.
•Wet landing: as the dinghy edges onto a sandy beach, guests step into knee-deep water and wade ashore.
