Day 2

Today you will visit the tourist district of Miraflores, and see the Pacific Ocean from Love Park. The tour continues with the modern suburb of San Isidro and a visit to the pre-Inca pyramid of Huaca Huallamarca. Then, you will visit the Historical Centre: Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the Archbishop's Palace, the City Hall and old streets with colonial mansions and Moorish balconies. The visit also includes Santo Domingo Convent, an icon of colonial architecture, which was completed in the late stages of the 16th century and has been recently restored. It has an ancient crypt where the relics of Peruvian saints such as Sant Rose of Lima and San Martin de Porres lie. Later on, you will have a tour of the Archbishop's Palace, a beautiful building with thirty rooms, in which 16th - 19th century art works, genuine heritage of teh Catholic Church, are on display. In the meanwhile, you will watch the changing of the guard at the Government Palace from one of the wood carved Neo-classical balconies on teh building's facade. Finally, you will visit the Cathedral, the stage upon which the most important events in the lives of Lima residents used to take place and the oldest building in the capital.

That evening we will visit the Larco Museum, which showcases remarkable chronological galleries providing an excellent overview on 3000 years of development of Peruvian pre-Columbian history. You will find there the finest gold and silver collection from Ancient Peru and the famous erotic archaelogical collection, one of the most visited Peruvian tourist attractions. After the visit enjoy the best of Peruvian gastronomy in a cozy restaurant.

Day 4

Sacred Valley

Today you will visit Moray, an interesting archeological site in the Sacred Valley. The enormous circular and semi-circular agricultural terraces were developed from natural vavities in the limestone of the hill and the Incas used them as a botanical laboratory. Not far away sits the town of Maras, famous for having the biggest salt pans in the region, a fantastic site that looks like a patchwork of terraces and ponds that have been used since before recorded history.

Enjoy a gourmet picnic surrounded by a dream landscape in Ollantaytambo, the City of the Incas. Beautiful scenery with a luxurious and personalised service provide you with a unique and unforgettable Andean experience.
